Episode 78: Red Hot Summer

The Bracket - Tournament of Sports Movies

With 16 automatic bids and 16 at-large ones, The Scooter B and JJ selection committee met to place our 32 movies in the battle of top sports movie into a bracket. After hours of lobbying and pitching, our 32 movies have been decided, seeded, and the first round matchups are days away.

As always, fans of movies will complain about where their team ended up in the bracket. Some fans may even complain about which movies made the cut. But without further ado, here is the bracket for this year's Tournament of Sports Movies:

Episode 77 - The (Movie) Selection Show

Justin here - Scooter is out once again but that is ok as Smailtronic himself - Mike Smail joined the program. We talked about OSU football and their treatment of local media. Our discussion went on to discuss the U.S. Women's National Team's big victory over Brazil in the Women's World Cup. We rank Derek Jeter against all of the Yankee greats following his 3000th hit. We finish the show by announcing the bracket to Scooter B. and JJ's Bracket of Top Sports Movies. Episode 76: Never fear! We are here!

Welcome back everybody! I'm back in the co-host chair this week, after sitting out a week due to illness. We come at you with a packed show.

Tonight we discuss the NBA and NFL lockouts in some depth. We then talk about the madhouse that has been NHL free agency. We spend a few minutes talking about the upcoming Roger Clemens trial. We wrap up by talking a bit more about some of our possible choices for the Scooter B and JJ sports movie bracket.
